Looking for a Texas Heeler puppy for my Dad. I realize the Texas Heeler is not a purebred dog, but the Texas Heeler puppy we get must come from parents that are 100% purebred ” Registered AKC, UKC, etc. ” OR F1 trough F3 Hybrid Texas Heelers will be acceptable with documentations….. In other words proof that ansisters came from AKC, UKC, ASCA, NZKC Registry.
Our intent: Any dog trained to find Antlers can be called an Antler Dog. When I was in my twenties I was around a Blue Heeler and a Blue Heeler / Australian Sheppard mix, we did not know to call her a Texas Heeler. This was before we had the internet.
I cant help but think a Texas Heeler would make an excellent Antler Dog. This breed is a great package. Well suited for the thick wooded and brushy terrain here in Texas. The nose may or may not be there but the intelligence shod be for sure……..

I have a little of Texas Heelers that are about 4 weeks now. The dam is an AKC Australian Cattle Dog and the sire is registered with MASCA and NSDR. This litter is on my website if you are interested in taking a look. This is my first time to do the cross, but I can’t help but think is should be good, the best of both.
